As party favors, Erika Barnes of Tiny Prints suggests satisfying clean, cellophane bags with s'mores kits. That way guests can create their own s'mores whenever they move home.
Miniature Gumball Machines To keep with the underwater motif, Kate Landers suggests seashells as party favors. Mystical Mermaid Party A sunshine-themed birthday celebration is fitting for any merry, bright child. Katie Henry of all Katie Grace Designs "wanted the dessert table to seem like a bright ray of sunshine." She suggests making a yellow lantern garland by tying lanterns with clear fishing line and hanging them above the table to resemble sunrays. All of the desserts are bright yellowish, including yellow chocolate-dipped pretzels and yellow cupcakes with sun-shaped toppers. Hold the celebration outside on a sunny day, therefore the yellow stands out even more from the blue sky.
Seashell Souvenir For creative and memorable figurines, Katie Henry used a cutting machine to make 12 suns and glued them on dowel rods. She then glued a picture on every one of the 12 suns of the child's first 12 months and stuck in Styrofoam concealed by bud slabs. These centerpieces are easy-to-create and sentimental when allowing the kid to be centre of attention on their special moment.
Sand in Your Toes For a simple party favor that represents the sunshine theme, Katie Henry packed Lemonheads candy in clear cellophane bags. To personalize them, she published tags out of her computer and used a circle punch to cut out them. This is a tasty way for visitors to take some sunshine home.
Baby's Sunshine Party Do not throw away lingering invitations next time you send out invites to your child's birthday party. Erika Barnes of Tiny Prints used additional invitations to make patterned bunting. The cardstock makes for a vibrant banner and matches the invitations to execute the theme of the party.
Spreading the Sunshine For your child on the move, throw a transportation-themed party full of planes, trains and cars. Rather than buying themed tableware, Chris Nease of Celebrations in Home suggests utilizing solid, neutral tableware paired with colorful charger plates to bring some colour to the table. To complete the look, print a simple, theme-friendly birthday banner from your computer. The guests will be on the path to a fun.
A Bright Idea These transport cupcake toppers are budget-friendly and simple to make. Chris Nease published the transportation graphics from her pc, glued the signs on wooden sticks and put them on top of the cupcakes. Adding simple yet innovative decor similar to this will set the ideal tone for the celebration.
Recycled Invitations Don't leave out even the smallest of details when decorating for a birthday celebration. "Cable boxes are a birthday party staple for young children," says Chris Nease. She dressed the guests' juice boxes together with construction paper and monogram stickers which fit the party's theme colours. Adding monogram stickers helps children know that beverage is theirs while adding a personal touch.
Get the Show on the Road "Adorable favors could be forced to coordinate with the celebration layout by filling takeout boxes with treats and activities," states Chris Nease. Add easy snacks such as cotton candy which looks like clouds and toy airplanes and helicopters so guests may enjoy their favors for weeks ahead of time.
Going in the Perfect Direction To make a one-of-a-kind party favor, Kate Landers personalized ceramic plates. The dishes may be used in place of name cards and for eating the desserts. Once the celebration is over, wash the plates and ship it so the kid can keep it for years to come. Make the dessert stick out by placing it on a base. Sipping in Style For another great party favor idea, Kate Landers cut cardboard wrapping paper tubes into six-inch sections. She wrapped it with pink paper, stuffed it with treats and rolled it up with tulle fabric. "Tie the ends with ribbons and attach a personalized label," says Kate. On the Go Katie Henry of Katie Grace Designs created a rustic dessert table because of this woodland wonderland birthday celebration. Nature-inspired colors highlight the outdoorsy-themed desserts. A real wood log holds the shrub cake and therefore'longer kabobs made from marshmallows, melted chocolate and crushed graham crackers stick from bud slabs. Katie made tree cupcakes simply by using pretzel sticks as tree trunks and green melted chocolate as leaves. Everything concerning the dessert table makes guests feel as if they're enjoying a day in the forests.
Pink Nutcracker Party Go to your own garden to find decor. "The mantel had organic cut wood stumps from our backyard with pictures poking from the timber stumps of their baby's first year," states Katie Henry. To produce the tree decoration, she cut several circles from green scrapbook paper and taped them together in a tree shape. Cut shapes out of wood-grain scrapbook paper to make a woodland "Happy Birthday" banner. Finish the look by incorporating grass slabs and critter-inspired decor.
Ceramic Plate Party Favor Birthday parties have plenty of meals for adults. For a first birthday celebration, make something the infants may enjoy too. Katie Henry filled nature-inspired baby food packs with homemade pureed sweet potatoes and infant trail mix, which is made up of fruit puffs, Cheerios and yogurt melts. Attach stickers and woodland creature tags into the box and include baby spoons for them to enjoy immediately.
Fabric Party Favor A circus-themed birthday party is a great idea for children of all ages. Transform your house into a day at the circus with bold hues of crimson and yellow and carnival activities such as painting. Woodland Wonderland What constitutes a pirate better than a box of animal crackers? This party favor is a much healthier option than candy-filled party favor bags. Laura Fenton suggests decorating the boxes with some ribbon and name tags.
Backyard Inspiration When the fun is finished at the celebration, give guests decoration wands to take the fun home. Becca Gorski selected three variants of ribbon for each wooden dowel rod and tied the ribbons at a time. This celebration favor represents the theme and is an enjoyable activity for guests.
Feed With this Wizard of Oz birthday celebration, Kate Landers of Kate Landers Events spruced up the desserts with party printables by Kim of The TomKat Studio. Lay the printables on top of the cake, cupcakes, party favors and dessert table. "This is a cheap means to personalize your party and implement the motif in every detail," says Kate. A Day at the Circus You don't need to wait patiently until the end of the party to give favors to guests. "The guests were greeted with water bottles and koozies to take home," says Haley of Little E and business. For a sensible and peach-themed party favor, Haley utilized her sewing machine to embroider peaches onto chocolate-brown koozies, and she printed personalized water bottle labels honoring the birthday girl. The koozies came in handy for guests during the celebration and therefore are useful later.
The Greatest Party Favor on Earth A baseball-themed celebration is great for a child in the Little Leagues. Hold the party at the ballpark and pack a picnic dinner for the guests. To honor the subject, Laura Fenton suggests decorating baseball cupcakes by placing red licorice candy on vanilla-frosted cupcakes. Also consist of ballpark food items such as hot dogs, cut orange pieces and sports drinks for the full effect.
Rustic Ribbon Party As take-home treats, give guests ballgame things such as bubble gum, peanuts and baseball cards. Laura Fenton taped miniature group pennants to treat-filled bags to symbolize the baseball motif. Guests can hang on the pennants in their own rooms as decoration.
